How plan-based feature gating works
Understand why a section might be locked, and how Tuurbo AI decides what your plan unlocks.
Why this matters
Not every section of Tuurbo AI is available on every plan. Ecommerce, Performance, Accessibilità, SEO & GEO and a few other areas are unlocked based on your subscription. This page explains the logic so a locked section does not feel like a bug.
What controls access
Access to a section is controlled by a set of internal permission tags, called feature entitlements. Each site checks, when a page loads, whether the tags it needs are present for the current plan. If they are, the section opens normally; if not, you see an upgrade prompt instead of the section content.
The sections most commonly affected are:
| Section | What it needs |
|---|---|
| Ecommerce | The eCommerce feature unlocked on the plan. |
| SEO & GEO | The automation feature unlocked on the plan. |
| Performance | The performance feature (and, for advanced capacity, a higher performance tier). |
| Accessibilità | The accessibility feature unlocked on the plan. |
| Setup gestito | A dedicated managed-setup feature, either included in the plan or purchased as an add-on. |
Da confermare: the exact mapping between each commercial plan and which of these features it includes is not fully published yet. If a feature you expect is missing, check with support or the pricing page for the current plan comparison.
AI credits are separate from feature access
Having a section unlocked does not automatically mean unlimited use. Actions that consume crediti AI (AI credits), such as chat messages or generated product content, are still limited by your credit balance, independently from whether the section itself is unlocked. See How AI credits work for the difference.
What happens if something goes wrong
Tuurbo AI is designed to fail open on permission checks: if the system cannot confirm your entitlements for a moment (for example during a temporary connection issue), it does not lock you out unnecessarily. This means an occasional slow load of a section is more likely a temporary check than a real restriction.
Step-by-step: understanding a locked section
- Open the section from the side menu as usual.
- If it shows an upgrade message instead of its normal content, the feature is not included in your current plan.
- Check Impostazioni → Abbonamento to see your current plan and status.
- From there, use the Gestisci button, or the pricing page, to see which plan includes the feature you need.
- If you believe the section should already be unlocked, contact support with your workspace and site name.
Tips
- Add-ons purchased separately (for example extra performance capacity or the managed setup service) unlock their related section without changing the rest of the plan.
- If you manage several sites in one workspace, check the plan per site: entitlements are evaluated for each site individually, not only for the workspace as a whole.
- When in doubt about whether a locked section is a plan limitation or a temporary issue, reload the page once before assuming it is permanent.
Common problems
A section I used to have access to is now locked. This can happen after a plan change or a renewal that moved the subscription to a different tier. Check Impostazioni → Abbonamento for the current status.
I upgraded but the section is still locked. Refresh the page; entitlements are usually updated within a few minutes of a plan change. If it persists longer, contact support.
An add-on I purchased doesn't show up. Confirm the purchase completed successfully in the billing section, then reload the relevant page. Add-ons tied to a specific site need that site selected to take effect.
