Tuurbo AI

Ecommerce overview & product catalog

The Ecommerce hub: connecting a product source, browsing the product table, filters, page states, and CSV import/export.

What is the Ecommerce section

Ecommerce (marked with a "beta" badge in the side menu) is the hub where you manage your entire product catalog. From here you can connect your online store, browse and filter your products, and prepare them for AI content generation, editing and publishing. Everything happens in one screen, so you don't need to leave Tuurbo AI to work on your catalog.

This section requires a plan that includes the Ecommerce feature. If your plan does not include it, you will see an upgrade prompt instead of the product catalog.

What you can do

  • Connect a store platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, and others) or import products from a CSV file.
  • Browse your full product catalog in a table, with search and filters.
  • Select one or more products to send to AI content generation, bulk editing, or publishing.
  • Disconnect a source and reconnect a different one if needed.
  • Export your current products to a CSV file.

Connecting a product source

When you open Ecommerce for the first time on a site, no source is connected yet, so you are asked to choose one.

  1. Open Ecommerce from the side menu.
  2. Choose whether to connect a store platform or import a CSV file.
  3. If you choose a platform:
    • Shopify: you are guided through a secure sign-in to your Shopify store (no passwords to type in Tuurbo).
    • WooCommerce: enter your consumer key, consumer secret and store address; Tuurbo also checks that the Tuurbo WordPress plugin is up to date.
    • PrestaShop: enter your API key and store address.
    • Magento: enter your access token (or consumer key/secret) and store address.
    • Other platforms may show as "Coming soon" and are not yet connectable.
  4. If you choose Import from CSV:
    • Upload your CSV file.
    • Wait for the upload progress bar to complete; you can cancel the upload while it's in progress.
    • Once finished, your products appear in the table with "CSV" shown as their source.
  5. Once a source is connected, products load automatically. Large catalogs load in batches, so you may see the table fill in progressively.

You can only work with product data once a source (a platform or a CSV) is connected. Without one, Ecommerce simply shows the connection screen.

The product table

Once a source is connected, the main screen shows the product table, where you can:

  • Search products by name or other visible fields.
  • Filter the list to narrow down what you see.
  • Select individual rows or select multiple rows at once (for bulk actions).
  • Open a single product to edit it in detail.
  • Mark generated content with a "like" or "dislike": this helps Tuurbo learn your preferences, and liking content sometimes rewards you with a bonus credit.
  • Launch AI generation, bulk editing, or publishing for the selected products (see the related pages below for details on each of these).

Page states you may see

StateWhat it means
LoadingTuurbo is retrieving your site's connection status.
No source connectedNo store or CSV is linked yet; you're prompted to connect one.
Product tableA source is connected and your products are shown.
Connection errorThe connected store could not be reached (for example, an expired access or an unreachable store); an error message and code are shown.

Managing multiple languages and brand context

If your store sells in multiple languages, you can select which store language you are working on; this affects which language version of a product you see and edit. Ecommerce also uses your brand information (tone of voice, brand description, industry, website, target customer, and anything stored in Knowledge) as context when generating content with AI, so it's worth keeping that information up to date.

Exporting your catalog

You can export your current products to a CSV file at any time from the product table, for example to back up your data or work on it outside Tuurbo.

Tips

  • If you sell on multiple channels, keep in mind that only one product source can be connected per site at a time; switching between a CSV import and a connected store does not overwrite one with the other, since Tuurbo tracks them as separate sources.
  • Keep your brand and Knowledge information updated: it directly improves the quality of AI-generated product content.
  • For very large catalogs, allow some time for the initial load; the table fills in progressively rather than all at once.
