Guided setup after activation

Configure DNS with your hosting provider, invite your team and upload setup materials after your site is active.

Overview

After your site is active, some more technical configuration may still be needed, especially if you want Tuurbo's performance features (like the CDN) to work with your domain. Guided setup walks you through this configuration and is reachable from Settings.

What you can do

  • Configure DNS records with your specific hosting/domain provider.
  • Upload or export DNS configuration files, with guides tailored to your provider.
  • Invite team members directly from the setup flow.
  • Upload supporting files needed for setup.

Supported hosting providers

Guided setup includes tailored instructions for many providers, grouped by region:

RegionProviders
EuropeanOVH, Hetzner, IONOS, Scaleway, Contabo, Hostinger, SiteGround, Strato, Infomaniak, Gandi
ItalianAruba, Register.it, Netsons, VHosting, ServerPlan, Keliweb, Tophost, FlameNetworks, Shellrent, SupportHost
Global/CMSGoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, AWS Route 53, Google Domains

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Settings and open the guided setup section for your project.
  2. Select your hosting or domain provider from the list.
  3. Follow the tailored instructions shown for that provider to configure the required DNS records.
  4. If you have an exported DNS configuration file, use the upload area to bring it in directly; otherwise follow the manual export guide shown for your provider.
  5. While in this section, you can also invite additional team members to help with setup, by entering their email address and role.
  6. Upload any other files or materials needed for your setup (for example, brand assets or configuration exports).
  7. Tuurbo verifies the DNS changes and confirms once propagation is detected.

DNS changes can take time to propagate across the internet, from a few minutes up to 24-48 hours depending on your provider. This is normal and not a sign of a problem.

Tips

  • If you're not comfortable making DNS changes yourself, invite a colleague or your technical contact directly from this screen.
  • Keep a copy of your DNS export before making changes, in case you need to revert.
  • If your provider isn't in the list, the general instructions for the closest matching provider type (for example "global/CMS") often still apply, or you can reach out to support.

Limits

  • DNS propagation timing depends entirely on your provider and cannot be sped up from within Tuurbo.
  • This setup step is primarily needed for Performance-related features (CDN/DNS/SSL); it is not required simply to use the AI Consultant, Ecommerce, or SEO features.
