AI product content generation
Generating product descriptions, images and attributes with AI, choosing templates, understanding credit costs, and sending jobs to the queue.
What is AI product content generation
From the Ecommerce product table, you can ask Tuurbo AI to write product descriptions, generate images, and fill in missing attributes for one or many products at once. Generation runs in the background, so you can keep working while it completes.
What you can do
- Select one or more products and generate AI content for them.
- Choose exactly which fields to generate: description, title, images (and how many), and missing attributes.
- Use a ready-made template instead of configuring every option manually.
- See the estimated credit cost before confirming.
- Track and manage the resulting jobs from the generation queue.
Generating content from a configuration
- In the product table, select one or more products.
- Click Generate with AI to open the generation settings.
- Choose which fields to generate:
- Description: a new product description.
- Title: a refreshed product title.
- Images: choose how many images to generate.
- Attribute completion: fills in missing product attributes automatically.
- Review the estimated cost shown in the dialog; it scales with the number of products and images selected.
- Confirm. Tuurbo checks that you have enough credits before starting, then queues the work.
- Follow progress from the generation queue.
Generating from a template
Instead of configuring every field yourself, you can pick a ready-made template (a preset style or prompt) and apply it to your selected products. Templates use the same underlying process and the same credit costs as manual configuration; they simply save you time when you want a consistent style across many products.
Credit costs
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Product description | 5 AI credits |
| Generated image | 5 AI credits |
| Attribute completion (per product) | 1 AI credit |
The cost shown in the generation dialog before you confirm reflects your selection (number of products x fields chosen), and the final word on your balance always comes from your account, not from the dialog's estimate.
How the brand context improves results
Generation quality depends on the brand information and Knowledge content you've provided elsewhere in Tuurbo. Keep your brand tone of voice, industry, target customer, and any uploaded catalog or brand documents up to date so that generated descriptions sound like your business.
Tips
- Generate a small batch first to check tone and quality before running it on your whole catalog.
- Use "like"/"dislike" feedback on generated content in the product table; it helps Tuurbo learn what you prefer, and liking content can sometimes earn you a bonus credit.
- If online research is needed to enrich a description (for example, looking up specifications), this depends on an external research service; if that service runs out of capacity, you'll see a message that online research isn't available right now, but the rest of the generation can still proceed.
Common problems
| Problem | What it means / what to do |
|---|---|
| "Insufficient credits" message when confirming | Your AI credit balance doesn't cover the estimated cost; check your balance or purchase extra credits before retrying. |
| Job fails partway through | Open the generation queue to see the specific error for that product or field. |
| "Online research not available" message | The external research service used to enrich descriptions has run out of capacity; try again later, or proceed without online research. |
| Generated content doesn't match your brand voice | Update your brand settings and Knowledge documents, then regenerate. |
