Tuurbo AI

Connecting a CMS/ecommerce platform

Step-by-step flows to connect Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, Wix, WordPress and other CMS/ecommerce platforms to Tuurbo AI.

Why connect your store or website

Connecting your CMS or ecommerce platform lets Tuurbo AI read your product catalog and site content, and lets you approve AI-generated changes (descriptions, images, SEO fields, and more) that get published back to your store. Each platform has its own connection flow, but they all lead to the same place: a "Connected" status on the connector card in the Connettori (IT) / Connectors (EN) page.

What you can do

  • Connect your store through a secure login flow (for Shopify, Wix) with one click.
  • Connect WordPress, WooCommerce, or PrestaShop by installing a small Tuurbo plugin/module on your site.
  • Connect Magento, VTEX, or OpenCart by entering API credentials manually.
  • Check connection status and reconnect or update credentials at any time.
  • Get notified when a newer version of the Tuurbo plugin is available.

Supported platforms and connection methods

PlatformHow you connect
ShopifySecure login (OAuth)
WixSecure login (OAuth)
SalesforceSecure login (OAuth)
WordPressPlugin installation, or manual credentials
WooCommercePlugin installation, or manual API keys
PrestaShopModule installation, or token-based connection
MagentoManual API credentials
VTEXManual API credentials ("Coming soon")
OpenCartManual API key ("Coming soon")

Note: platforms marked "Coming soon" in the store are not yet available to connect.

Step by step: Shopify, Wix or Salesforce (secure login)

  1. Open Connettori / Connectors from the side menu.
  2. Find the card for your platform and click the connect button.
  3. You'll be redirected to the platform's own login page; sign in and approve access for Tuurbo AI.
  4. You'll be brought back automatically, and the card will switch to "Connected".
  5. Open the connector's detail page to see the AI actions now available for your catalog.

Step by step: WordPress, WooCommerce or PrestaShop (plugin/module)

  1. Open Connettori / Connectors and select your platform's card.
  2. Click the connect button; you'll be asked for your site's admin address.
  3. Tuurbo AI detects whether your site runs WordPress or WooCommerce and offers the matching plugin, or asks you to choose the correct one if detection isn't certain.
  4. Download and install the plugin (or, for PrestaShop, the module) following the on-screen instructions.
  5. Once installed, the page automatically checks the connection in the background; when the handshake completes, the status changes to "Connesso" / "Connected".
  6. If you prefer not to install a plugin, you can switch to manual mode and enter your credentials instead (see below).
  7. If a newer plugin version is later released, the page will let you know so you can update it.

Step by step: manual credentials (WooCommerce, WordPress, Magento, VTEX, OpenCart)

  1. Open the connector card and choose the manual/API key option (or switch to it from the plugin flow).
  2. Enter the fields requested for your platform, for example:
    • WooCommerce: consumer key, consumer secret, store URL.
    • WordPress: username, application password, store URL.
    • Magento: access token, consumer key, consumer secret, access token secret, store URL.
    • VTEX: app key, app token, account name.
    • OpenCart: API key, store URL.
  3. Confirm; Tuurbo AI will test the credentials and show "Connected" if they work.
  4. If the test fails, double-check the credentials in your platform's admin area and try again.

Managing an existing connection

  • To disconnect, open the connector card and choose the disconnect option; any AI automations that relied on it will stop working until you reconnect.
  • To change credentials or reconfigure, open the connector's configuration dialog and update the fields.

Tips

  • Keep the Tuurbo plugin updated on WordPress/WooCommerce/PrestaShop sites to avoid handshake issues.
  • If automatic platform detection picks the wrong option (WordPress vs. WooCommerce), switch manually to the correct one.
  • Have your store's admin URL and, for manual setups, your API credentials ready before you start; this speeds up the process considerably.

Common problems

ProblemWhat to do
Installation seems stuck on "checking connection"Give it a few minutes; the system polls automatically. If it still doesn't complete, verify the plugin/module was actually activated on your site, then retry.
Wrong platform detected (WordPress instead of WooCommerce, or vice versa)Use the manual override to select the correct platform, or switch to manual credentials.
Manual credentials rejectedConfirm you copied the key/secret without extra spaces and that the store URL includes the correct protocol (https://).
Connector shows "Coming soon"That platform isn't connectable yet; there is no workaround at this time.
