Accessibility

Configure the accessibility widget for your website and manage your legal Accessibility Statement.

What is Accessibility

Accessibility helps you make your website usable by more visitors, including people with visual, motor, or cognitive needs. It gives you an accessibility widget that visitors can use to adjust how they see and navigate your site, and it helps you prepare the legal Accessibility Statement many websites are required to publish.

What you can do

  • Configure the appearance and available functions of the accessibility widget shown to your visitors.
  • Publish the widget so it appears live on your website.
  • Fill in and publish your Accessibility Statement (see Accessibility Statement for the full guide).
  • Move between the widget settings and the statement using tabs.

Opening Accessibility

  1. Click Accessibility in the side menu.
  2. The page is organized into tabs: one for the widget configuration and one for the Accessibility Statement.

Configuring the accessibility widget

  1. Open the main tab of the Accessibility page.
  2. Choose the appearance of the widget (for example its position or style) as offered by the settings.
  3. Turn on or off the specific accessibility functions you want to make available to visitors (such as options related to text size, contrast, navigation aids, and similar accessibility profiles).
  4. Save your changes.
  5. Publish the widget so it goes live on your website for visitors to use.

Moving to the Accessibility Statement

  1. From the Accessibility page, switch to the Statement tab.
  2. Follow the guided form described in Accessibility Statement to complete and publish your legal declaration.

Tips

  • Enable the accessibility profiles that are most relevant to your audience and industry; you do not need to activate every option at once.
  • After publishing the widget, visit your site as a regular visitor to confirm it appears and works as expected.
  • Revisit your accessibility settings periodically, especially after major site redesigns.

Limits and things to know

  • The Accessibility section requires the accessibility feature to be included in your plan; if it is not available, you will see an upgrade prompt.
  • The widget affects how visitors experience your site, but publishing it does not automatically complete legal compliance; you should also complete the Accessibility Statement where required by local regulations.
