Installing the site script/plugin

How to install and verify the Tuurbo AI script or plugin so your site is fully connected.

Why installation matters

To let Tuurbo AI measure your traffic, apply optimizations and show accurate data in your Dashboard, a small script (or a plugin, depending on your platform) needs to be installed on your website. Without it, Tuurbo AI cannot fully monitor or act on your site.

What you can do

Install the Tuurbo AI script or plugin on your site during setup, or later if you skipped it.
Check whether the installation is active and working.
Update your plugin (for WordPress/WooCommerce sites) when a new version is available.
Troubleshoot installation issues directly from your Dashboard.

How to install the script or plugin

The exact steps depend on your platform, but the general process is:

During the site setup wizard, reach the installation step (the last step before your site goes live).
Choose your platform: for platforms with a dedicated connector (Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, PrestaShop, Wix), Tuurbo AI provides tailored instructions or an installable plugin.
For a custom or unsupported platform, copy the provided script snippet and paste it into your site's header or template, following the on-screen instructions.
Save your changes on your website's side (publish the theme change, install the plugin, etc.).
Return to Tuurbo AI and confirm the installation.

How to verify the installation

Go to your site's Dashboard.
Look for the installation/activation panel, usually shown if the script hasn't been detected yet.
Click to check or re-check the installation status.
If detected, the panel confirms your site is correctly connected; if not, it will point out that the script is still missing.

Updating the WordPress/WooCommerce plugin

From your WordPress admin area, check for available plugin updates as you normally would.
Update the Tuurbo AI plugin to the latest version to keep receiving the latest optimizations and fixes.
Return to your Tuurbo AI Dashboard to confirm everything is still working after the update.

Options

You can skip installation during the initial setup and complete it later; some features (like live traffic data) simply won't work until it's done.
If you prefer not to handle installation yourself, request the managed setup add-on for the Tuurbo AI team to install it for you.

Tips

Ask a developer or your platform's support team for help if you are not comfortable editing your site's template or header code.
After installing, give it a little time and then refresh your Dashboard: verification isn't always instant.
If you use a caching plugin or a CDN, make sure the change is not being cached from before the script was added.

Common problems

The installation still shows as "not detected" after I added the script. Double-check the script was saved and published (not just added in a draft or preview). Some platforms require a separate "publish" step for template changes.

I installed the plugin but nothing changed in my Dashboard. Make sure you connected the plugin to the correct site/account in Tuurbo AI; some plugins require entering a site key or logging in from within the plugin settings.

My site uses a page builder or custom theme and I don't know where to paste the script. Look for a "custom code", "header scripts" or "tracking code" section in your platform's settings, which most page builders and themes provide. If you can't find one, consider the managed setup add-on.

The plugin update broke something on my site. Roll back to the previous plugin version if your platform allows it, and contact support so the issue can be investigated.
