Reports overview & scheduled reports

Understand internal, scheduled and public reports, their sections, and how to set up recurring delivery.

What are Reports

Reports put together a clear document about your site's performance, drawing on your traffic, SEO, and marketing data. Reports can be viewed inside the app, sent on a recurring schedule (for example monthly), or shared publicly with people outside your team via a link.

What you can do

  • View a report inside the app with your metrics and comparisons.
  • Set up a recurring report so it is generated and sent automatically on a schedule.
  • Share a public report via a link, with an optional registration step before the full report is unlocked.
  • Compare results against the previous period.

Types of reports

TypeWho sees itHow it works
Internal reportYou, inside the appA snapshot of your data viewed directly in Tuurbo, including an introduction, results, and comparison with the previous period.
Scheduled reportAnyone with the link (no login required)A recurring report, typically sent by email, viewable via a unique link, showing the period's metrics and highlights.
Public reportExternal visitorsA shareable report accessible via a link, which can include a request step, an optional registration/lead-capture step, and a final unlocked result view.

Viewing an internal report

  1. Open or generate a report from within the app.
  2. Review its sections: introduction, results, and comparison with the previous period.
  3. Use the available options to share, export, or set up recurring delivery from here.

Setting up a recurring (scheduled) report

  1. Open the reporting section (for example from your site's settings or dashboard).
  2. Set the date range or choose a recurring frequency for the report.
  3. Select the website the report should cover.
  4. Save your settings; this activates or updates the automatic generation and delivery of the report on that schedule.
  5. Recipients receive a link to view the scheduled report; opening it shows the latest period's data without requiring a login.

A recurring monthly report is a common setup, but you can also configure a specific date range for a one-time report.

Sharing a public report

  1. Generate or obtain the link for the public report.
  2. If a request step is enabled, the external visitor fills in a short form to request the report.
  3. If registration is required, the visitor sees a locked preview and must register (providing basic contact details) before continuing.
  4. Once registered, the visitor unlocks and views the full result report.

Tips

  • Use scheduled reports to keep stakeholders informed automatically, without needing to generate a report manually each time.
  • Public reports with a registration step are useful when you want to capture contact details from people viewing your results (for example in a lead-generation context).
  • Always check the comparison with the previous period to understand whether your metrics are improving or declining.

Limits and things to know

  • Recurring automatic delivery may require the relevant plan to be active.
  • Public and scheduled reports are viewable without a login by anyone who has the link, so only share links with the intended audience.
  • The exact set of sections in a report depends on the report type and the data connected to your site (for example Google Search Console or Analytics).
