Google Search Console & Analytics integrations
Connecting GSC/GA from Knowledge, selecting your property and using the data in Dashboard and Reports.
What these integrations are for
Google Search Console and Google Analytics are the two data sources that power almost every chart and metric you see in your Dashboard and in your Reports. Connecting them is optional, but without them most of the traffic and search performance widgets will stay empty.
What you can do
- Connect your Google Search Console property to bring in clicks, impressions, average position and CTR.
- Connect your Google Analytics property to bring in sessions, average session duration and bounce rate.
- Switch or update the connected Google account if your access changes.
- See these metrics automatically reflected in your Dashboard KPI cards and in your scheduled or on-demand Reports.
Step-by-step: connecting Google Search Console
- Open Knowledge from the side menu.
- Find the Google Search Console card and click Connect.
- Sign in with the Google account that has access to your site's Search Console property.
- Grant Tuurbo AI the requested permissions.
- From the property picker, select the exact site (domain or URL-prefix property) you want to connect.
- Tuurbo starts pulling data; it may take a short while before the first metrics appear.
Step-by-step: connecting Google Analytics
- Open Knowledge from the side menu.
- Find the Google Analytics card and click Connect.
- Sign in with the Google account that has access to the relevant Analytics property.
- Grant Tuurbo AI the requested permissions.
- From the property picker, select the correct Analytics property for your site.
- Tuurbo starts pulling data; your Dashboard sessions and behavior metrics will populate shortly after.
Where the data is used
| Data source | Where you see it |
|---|---|
| Google Search Console | Dashboard KPI cards (clicks, impressions, average position, CTR), keyword position distribution, Reports |
| Google Analytics | Dashboard KPI cards (sessions, average session duration, bounce rate), Reports |
Note: both integrations are managed from Knowledge, but they are independent of any CMS or e-commerce connector. You can use Tuurbo AI's product and content features without connecting Google, and vice versa.
Options
- You can connect one property at a time per integration; if you manage multiple properties, choose the one that matches the website you are working on inside Tuurbo.
- If your access to a Google account changes (for example, you leave a company), you can reconnect with a different account and pick the correct property again.
Tips
- Make sure the Google account you use to connect actually has permission to the Search Console property and the Analytics property in Google's own tools, not just in Tuurbo.
- Connect both integrations together for the most complete Dashboard experience; some KPI cards depend on one source, others on the other.
- If you recently changed your site's domain or moved to a new Analytics property, reconnect and pick the updated property to avoid seeing stale or missing data.
Common problems
The Dashboard cards stay empty or show a loading skeleton after connecting. Data can take some time to start flowing after the first connection. If it does not appear after a reasonable wait, check that you selected the correct property during setup.
I cannot find my site in the property picker. This usually means the Google account you signed in with does not have access to that property in Search Console or Analytics. Add access there first, then try connecting again in Tuurbo.
I connected the wrong property by mistake. Go back to Knowledge, disconnect or reconnect the integration, and select the correct property from the picker.
My reports show numbers that look outdated. Reports and Dashboard metrics are refreshed on a regular schedule; a short delay between real traffic and what you see is expected, especially right after connecting.
